Placing an Order

We require 48 hours notice for orders. Custom orders require
a minimum or one week.

There are 3 ways to place your order:

Online Store

This is the fastest and easiest way to place an order with
us. It only takes a few minutes to complete your order. You can choose your style, size, flavour from our website and even note any special requirements with your order.

Call Us

Our team would be happy to assist you placing your order
over the phone during our opening hours.

Visit our Store

Visit our store in Drummoyne and one of our team members
would be happy to assist you with your order in person.

We take Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Shop Pay, Paypal and EFT
are also available. You can also pay cash in our Drummoyne store. All orders excluding corporate account orders must be prepaid prior to delivery.

If they are for two separate deliveries and locations you
will need to place the orders separately.

Yes, we can add a card to your order and there is no additional charge for this.

Store Pick Up & Delivery

Our store opening hours are Tuesday – Friday 9am to 3pm and Saturday 8.30am – 1pm.

You can select a store pick up time slot at checkout.

Our address is Shop 6, 52 Lyons Road Drummoyne.

We recommend that you park in the IGA carpark which is
located on Marlborough Rd in Drummoyne and then walk through to Lyons Road.

We deliver to most locations in Sydney Metropolitan. We do
not deliver outside of Sydney.

Our deliveries are charged based on the distance from our Drummoyne store. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout when you enter your post code.

We generally deliver all orders between 9am – 2pm weekdays
and 9am to 1pm on Saturday. For Sydney CBD orders, we deliver between 7am to
10am. The time of the delivery will depend on what orders we have for delivery
on the day and the courier route.

On the day of delivery, you will receive a text message when
the courier picks up your order and you will be given an ETA for delivery. You can also track your courier live for ETA.

You can request a delivery time using the special requirements
box at checkout. However, please note we cannot guarantee delivery times. If you have a time critical event, we recommend that you pick up or have it delivered the day before. Our cakes can be stored in the fridge and our
cupcakes at room temperate for serving the next day.

Our drivers are unable to call you prior to your delivery as
it is unsafe to do so. You can track the driver's progress via the text message you will receive on the day of delivery to get an estimated time of arrival.

In some instances, we can, but the delivery will be made via
a courier not our own driver and this may cost extra. We always have a selection of our delicious cupcakes available in store for purchase on the day. You can also order a selection of our products for same day delivery using Uber Eats and Door Dash.

Yes we can but we do recommend that you take the cake inside as soon as possible. 

If it is safe the driver will leave at the location. If not, e.g. an apartment block where there is no reception lobby/parcel area then the driver will not be able to delivery and will return the items to the shop for redelivery the next day. A redelivery fee will be charged to you if the driver is required to re deliver.

We can deliver to a restaurant, however, it is your responsibility to check if the restaurant will accept your delivery and store it. On Saturdays we deliver in the morning so please confirm that the restaurant will be open and that they will accept in the morning. We have had instances where customers have advised that the restaurant will accept a delivery, and they did not check prior. In this instance, the order will be returned to
our store and a redelivery fee will apply.

We do not deliver to parks.

Products

We have mini and regular sixed cupcakes. The mini cupcakes
are 3cm and the regular cupcakes are 5cm.

Serving sizes are coffee slices so are not large slices.

Our cakes are best enjoyed within 48 hours. We recommend
storing the cake in the fridge overnight and then taking it out about 2-3 hours before your event to bring back to room temperature.

We encourage you to enjoy our cupcakes at their freshest on
the day of purchase. However, they will stay fresh for up to two days if they are stored correctly.

We recommend storing the cupcakes at room temperature and as airtight as possible.

Please do not refrigerate our cupcakes.

Yes, they do need to go into the fridge overnight.

Yes, we can change the icing colours and it will not change
the price. You indicate this in the special requirements box when
ordering.

If you can email us at info@thecupcakefactory.com.au
with an image of the cake design you had in mind, we can review the image and see whether it
is something we can assist with.

Our cakes are not sponge cakes. They are denser and heavier
with a richer texture.

We do not use fresh cream in any of our cakes, we only use buttercream icing.

No, we don’t supply candles with the cakes.

Dietary Requirements

We don’t have any nuts in the majority of our cupcakes (except the Indulgent range) but we do advise that there may be traces of nuts as our kitchen is not a nut free kitchen.

Yes, we make chocolate gluten free cupcakes.

All of our cakes and cupcakes have eggs. Our decorations
also contain eggs.

We don’t have any dairy free cupcakes or lactose free cupcakes.

We are not Halal certified – our products do not have pork,
but some of our sugar decorations have gelatine and we also use vanilla essence which contains alcohol.

We do not make sugar free cakes unfortunately.

We do not make low sugar cakes.

Logo Cupcakes and Cakes

Logo flat on the icing is where the edible icing sheets sits directly on the icing cupcake not on a disc.

Yes, you can have multiple logos on your cupcakes.

Yes, we can print pictures and images not just logos.
